For more than 20 years, Meredith Leapley, Founder and President of LEAP IN, has earned a reputation as a strong leader and mentor as the Founder and President of Leapley Construction. Her deep-rooted passion to invest in people and form authentic relationships through Learning // Empathy // Agility // Persistence // Integrity (LEAP IN) crosses all industries and has proven to be the foundation to success.
These values are woven into the day-to-day business of Leapley Construction and have helped to establish key relationships with many like-minded clients who care about their people and communities in which they operate.
In 2001, The Coca-Cola Company, who Leapley was working for as a preferred partner on several projects, assisted Meredith in establishing Leapley Construction as a certified, woman-owned company, helping to provide a gateway for the company to gain high-profile portfolio experience and expand their brand. Meredith realized that without the guidance of a larger company to help her through the process, she might not have been able to cross the barriers set up before her as a small business. She wanted to help other small and diverse businesses grow just as she was given the knowledge and tools necessary to land critical contracts.
As an established, woman-owned business, she didn’t just want to have a Diverse Supplier program as so many companies have. She wanted to create a Business Accelerator to provide training to businesses so that they might grow stronger and better together. During conversations with several diverse partners, we asked them, “What do you need to be successful?” What they needed was the entrepreneurial mindset and deeper understanding of their business.

Leap In and Build was born, a groundbreaking business accelerator practicum to help other entrepreneurs build their brands and improve operational efficiency. There is a laser focus on Supplier development, workforce development and the diverse talent pool. Enhancing the business ecosystem is a business imperative and LEAP IN fills that need. Based on the LEAP IN values of Learning, Empathy, Agility, Persistence, and Integrity, Leapley established facilitated training programs for participants to gain knowledge and best practices required to be considered for larger contracts, win work, and consistently deliver.
Since the beginning, Leap In and Build has been focused on self-development, leadership, visioning, and resilience. Meredith has a history of bringing like-minded people together and having workshops that enable self-reflection through her deep knowledge of not only being a serial entrepreneur but also a board certified Health Coach and an Enneagram Coach.
Microsoft innovated and partnered with Leapley to pilot a formal Business Accelerator Certification program for its supplier pipeline based on the LEAP IN roadmap. Crafting Futures TogetherTM, facilitated by Leap In and Build, provides coaching and resources to small and medium-sized vendors and suppliers to accelerate their growth. This program has been running since 2020 with intentional and impactful results.
